The venue is home to the Loyola University Chicago Ramblers basketball team and has been a staple in the community for over three decades.

Throughout the year, the Gentile Center hosts a diverse range of events, from NCAA basketball games to concerts featuring both local and national artists. Ticket prices can vary significantly based on the type of event; for instance, basketball games typically range from $15 to $50, while concerts may start at $30 and go up to $100 or more for premium seating. The venue is well-regarded for its excellent acoustics and sightlines, ensuring that every seat offers a great experience.

Seating Information

The seating arrangement at the Gentile Center is designed to enhance the viewing experience for all attendees. The best sections are generally considered to be those located closer to the stage or court, particularly sections 101 and 102, which offer unobstructed views and an immersive experience during events. These sections are favored due to their proximity to performers and action.

Conversely, sections located further back or in the corners may not provide as favorable a view. While these seats are often more affordable, they can detract from the overall experience due to limited sightlines. However, there are still several sections that offer decent views without breaking the bank, making them suitable options for budget-conscious attendees.

Parking Information

Parking options near the Gentile Center are plentiful, with several lots available within walking distance of the venue. One of the best parking options is the Loyola University Parking Garage, located at 6525 N Sheridan Rd. This facility offers convenient access to the arena and typically charges around $10 per event.

In addition to this garage, there are various street parking options available; however, it is advisable to avoid parking in areas with strict time limits or high traffic congestion during event days. The Gentile Center's location in Chicago makes it easily accessible via public transportation as well, providing additional convenience for attendees.
